Taylor Maritime is a significant owner and operator of geared Handysize and Supra/Ultramax dry bulk ships. The company owns a fleet of high quality, Japanese-built vessels and has a track record of delivering returns for shareholders, providing exceptional service for its partners and upholding its responsibilities to its people and the communities in which it operates.

Prior to B&C’s involvement, TM’s previous reporting was missing several Best Practice elements and had a ‘hurried’ feel. We worked with the company to produce an improved narrative structure incorporating a Best Practice approach, including the creation a Business Model infographic to convey succinctly how the company creates value for all stakeholders.

Design-wise, the annual report adopts a refined, maritime-inspired design that reflects the company’s focus on global shipping and tangible asset performance. The layout is clean and disciplined, using structured grids and clear typographic hierarchy to guide readers through operational updates, fleet performance, and financial disclosures. A restrained colour palette – deep blues and neutral tones inspired by the sea and reflecting TMI’s branding – reinforces the nautical theme while maintaining a professional investment-grade appearance. High-quality photography of vessels, ports, and global trade routes provides visual context, grounding the financial narrative in the physical assets that underpin the company’s strategy.

The report balances imagery with data-rich content, using well-designed charts and performance tables to communicate metrics such as time charter equivalent rates, fleet utilisation, and dividend returns. The overall design conveys stability and discipline, aligning with the company’s positioning as a specialist shipping investment vehicle focused on steady income generation and asset-backed growth.
