GEFCO was a major European logistics provider which specialized in complex integrated supply chain solutions, particularly for the automotive industry. Its core business and services included automotive logistics, overland & contract logistics, air & sea freight and industrial services. GEFCO was a leader in transporting new vehicles from factories to dealers and end customers, handling around 4 million vehicles annually.

For GEFCO’s 2019 Annual Report, we devised a polished, ultra-corporate design to reflect the company’s position as a leading global logistics and supply chain operator.

The layout is structured around a clear, hierarchical grid that guides readers through corporate strategy, operational performance, and financial reporting. A professional colour palette – rooted in the company’s brand identity with strong yellows, blues and greys – reinforces corporate credibility, while consistent typography, clear headings, and section dividers ensure readability across dense content. Infographics, charts, and icons are used to distil complex logistics data into quickly digestible insights.

Visual storytelling is central to the report’s design, with full-width photography, maps, and graphics illustrating GEFCO’s global network, transport solutions, and industry sectors. Visual call-outs are strategically used to break up longer sections of text, enhancing navigation and accessibility. Overall, the report balances detailed disclosure with a visually engaging and professional presentation, reinforcing GEFCO’s identity as a reliable, forward-looking logistics partner.
